YA-museum

A lot of people don’t really understand how a country that is so accepting towards transgenders arises. To explain our history we established the museum.  The YA-museum is an ode to the history of our people. More importantly about how our vision on hijra’s has evolved since the foundation of our country. It’s an amazing exhibition about all our leaders throughout the history of Lotoya. There are a lot of pictures, videos and attributes to be seen so you can be entirely submerged in our culture.

Every week there are three sessions where Lotoyans of the older generations talk about their experiences back in the days while they take the visitors through the museum. It’s very important to remember how we got to the point we are today.

The YA-museum is a highly recommended as you get a really clear vision and idea about who we are and where we come from. The tourists are always full of praise about the museum.

“The YA-museum is not the typical boring museum, you really understand where they come from. After my visit I really felt connected with the Lotoyans. “ - Maria from Fertilia

“My visit really opened up my eyes! I come from Marnia where transgenders are not accepted. I was here on a business trip and was kind of forced by a colleague to go to this museum. And I’m really glad I did.” - Jamian from Marnia

“I’m from Greyland ands I really enjoyed my visit to the YA-museum. It’s reassuring to see that there is a young generation that is so motivated and believing in their own country and their own beliefs. In the museum you can really see that they know what their government is about.” - Betty from Greyland
