A day in the life of Betty
Betty likes to wake up around 6:30 for an early yoga session during sun rise. Afterwards she makes a healthy breakfast for her and her husband Herbert. Only on Sundays does she make a huge healthy breakfast for her husband and children. They like to drink a good cup of coffee in the morning on their porch to start off the rest of their day. During their coffee they gently greet every person who passes by their house, because everyone in their street knows them. Now and then people stop at their house to have a little chat.

Around 11:00 am Betty goes to a talking group where she speaks an hour or two with the members. In that group people with psychological problems talk about their experiences, thoughts and feelings.
After that Betty likes to have lunch near the beach to have some fresh air and enjoy nature. She thinks this is absolutely necessary because of the heavy stories she hears during the talking group sessions.

In the afternoon she likes to spend her time in the garden where she has her vegetable garden. Now and then her children join her after school. When she’s done with gardening she likes to pay a visit to the theatre of which she had been the owner / manager for many years. The people who work there are very diverse : some belong to the LGBT community.

At night Betty likes to read books about cultures that are different from hers. She likes to be very open-minded and get to know and understand every culture.
